informal, invitation-only events for fellow founders and leaders in fintech
Since late 2016, we have been hosting a series of invitation-only events, for the founders of successful financial technology companies and leaders within the sector.
The ambition is to create a wide network of people that have a vested interest in FinTech, and to create a forum for better collaboration amongst entrepreneurs, startups, government, regulators and across the financial services landscape.
Free for invitees to attend, the format for each event is kept intentionally casual and straightforward.
Taking place throughout the year, our group hosts a series of events and have had a range of guest speakers from senior members of the government, the World Economic Forum, 10 Downing Street through to senior banking executives.
Our regular informal meet-ups aim to provide an opportunity for the group to interact with government and other senior people from the wider parts of the financial services ecosystem. These events are usually in a private dinner format, but have included hosting various events such as drinks receptions at the Conservative Party Conference, and on the fringe of conferences such as LendIt.
Our inaugural Fintech founder survey.
In August 2019, we published this short, concise study with contributions from a range of UK Fintech founders. It provides a great insight into the mood from the sector, and makes a number of suggestions for the government to help ensure that the UK remains one of the global champions for Fintech.
